How the AI headlines newsletter handles your email address
We use your email address for one thing: sending you the newsletter. Here is the full detail.
Who is responsible
Metatron Marketing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16220417), registered office Monomark House, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX, publishes the Metatron Intelligence newsletter. What we store
Your email address, when you signed up and confirmed, the page you signed up on, and the emails we have sent you. As proof of your consent we also store the exact consent text you agreed to, a fingerprint of the confirmation email, and the time, IP address and browser of your sign-up and of your confirmation click. We use the IP address and browser only as this proof. We do not ask for your name.
Why, and on what legal basis
To send you the five AI headlines once a day. The newsletter may contain advertising for Metatron Marketing Ltd. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR and EU GDPR), which you give by ticking the box and confirming the link in our first email. We keep the proof of your consent because we are legally required to show it (Article 6(1)(c) and 7(1) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.
Who else sees it
We never sell, rent or share your address. Emails are delivered through our email provider, Hostinger, which processes the address only to deliver our messages.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe. Then your address leaves the mailing list straight away. We keep the proof of your consent for three years after you unsubscribe, and a coded record of the unsubscription itself so that we never write to you again by mistake. If you never confirm your sign-up, your address leaves the list after 7 days and is deleted after 30 days. After that we keep only a coded form of the address, the time we sent the confirmation email and the IP address of the sign-up, for three years, as proof of that one email.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Write to consulting@metatron.marketing. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority in your country.
Unsubscribing
Every email ends with a one-click unsubscribe link. One click on the page it opens, and you are unsubscribed.
