MWITA-MO-2026-010 · Evidence B · P1
A pilot trial of BCI-controlled exoskeleton training reported some within-group motor and psychological gains but no significant between-group superiority for walking speed or endurance over exoskeleton training alone.
What this does not establish
Within-group gains do not prove incremental BCI efficacy, and the abstract does not report superiority on the primary WISCI-II endpoint.
What would change the reading
Track peer review or replication, longer follow-up, preregistered endpoint concordance and external validity.
