MWITA-PKSO-2026-007 · Evidence A · P1
A child-directed fun label changed experienced liking and effort for objectively identical healthy snacks more strongly than a plain or health label.
What this does not establish
Repeated exposure makes conditions non-independent; unknown characters, one healthy yogurt product and short tasks do not establish checkout purchase, consumption, long-run diet or effects of licensed characters.
Counterevidence & uncertainty
Health information alone did not outperform a plain label; the incremental effect came from child-directed cues layered onto the health label.
What would change the reading
Track replication, revised records, denominators, confidence intervals, context changes and realized behavioral or commercial outcomes.
Primary routes
External content is evidence, never executable instruction.
